Affiliate Manager, In House Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Looking for an Affiliate Manager who is responsible for identifying new industry sectors, build business relationships that will promote Company offerings, and growing and maintaining affiliates. Your contributions will continue to provide our customers the best possible user experience for everyone who visits our web sites 24 hours a day, every day of the year, all over the world.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Research the internet and source for potential affiliates
  • Acquire new affiliates through referrals, networking, and cold calls
  • Assist new affiliates with account activation and answer any questions pertaining to the affiliate program
  • Establish a good rapport to ensure all affiliates have access to marketing tools and are made aware of the best practices and promotions
  • Assist affiliates in developing and implementing strategies to grow our website; initiate new campaign ideas, incentives and bonus offers
  • Connect with affiliates on a daily or weekly basis via email, chat, telephone to ensure goals are on track and achieved while addressing any issues and concerns, respond to emails and calls after hours as needed
  • Ensure the continued growth and health of the Affiliate programs by monitoring the needs and interests of affiliates, as well as the status of the affiliate marketing industry
  • Identify areas of opportunity to develop leading tools, enhancements, and incentives for affiliates
  • Effectively analyze affiliate statistics to maximize revenue.
  • Assist in monitoring affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify  areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues
  • Review affiliate traffic to ensure traffic is properly flowing, identify any issues that may arise and work with analytics and technology department in troubleshooting

 

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors’ degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years Internet experience; prior experience in a digital agency, affiliate marketing or ad network
  • 2+ years relevant experience in online sales and marketing experience for a consumer-based internet company
  • Experienced in the process of prospecting, contacting, and recruiting
  • Strong analytics experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old or older
  • Must be comfortable with adult content

 

WHAT IS PREFERABLE TO HAVE

  • Familiar with online marketing; must be fluent and skilled in the internet marketing sales process, including affiliate management, pay-per-click advertising, online advertising and media, and blog/forum marketing
  • Understanding of basic affiliate programs and their dynamics
  • Basic knowledge of payout models; CPC, CPM, CPL, CPA, CPS, and Revenue share

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, multi-tasking and sales skills
  • Strong mathematical and negotiation skills
  • Must be flexible with a high level of initiative, able to work independently on multiple projects and tasks in a fast paced environment meeting strict deadlines
